The Zimbabwe Country Programme is looking for qualified staff to fill the following positions:

a) Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) Officer

To be Based in Harare  for 10 months initially.  The purpose of the MEAL Officer role is to support the SRP2 project team and partners to monitor and evaluate the project to ensure efficient and impactful implementation.

b) Project officer

Based in Harare initially for 10 months, This role will work closely with partners to support the day-to-day implementation of the SRP2 project, ensuring effective and timely delivery of the programme including technical support to partners, monitoring, report writing and effective communication.

c) Finance Officer

Based in Harare initially for 10 months, The Finance Officer will work closely with Business Services Manager (BSM), Program Accountant and Project team to ensure that the Securing Rights Program (SRP2) project maintains a high standard of accounting and financial control. The Finance Officer provides essential support to ensure maximum impact of the project. Working under the authority of the BSM, the Finance Officer is responsible for the co-ordination of all financial Matters relating to the work and operations of the SRP 2 project.

d) Administrative Assistant/Driver

Based in Harare initially for 10 months, The scope of work for this role is to perform a varied range of logistical and administrative tasks to deliver an efficient cost-effective and quality service and support to the team. Drive Oxfam vehicles in a responsible manner ensuring the safety of both the passengers and the vehicles and to perform a variety of associated tasks delivering a superior level of service and support.

e) Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) Coordinator

About this position:

 The MEAL Coordinator will work closely with the connectors and country programme staff to catalyse the growth and development of our programme through improving quality, effectiveness and funding, in line with Oxfam in Zimbabwe’s Programmatic Strategic Framework 2016 – 2020, through developing sound MEAL frameworks to enhance our ability to demonstrate the impact of our work.

This position will be responsible for undertaking/commissioning organised reviews, research and analysis and spend time in reflective consideration to develop a comprehensive understanding of how program quality can be achieved across country programs. The MEAL coordinator will also work with the program coordinators to ensure quality, coherence and impact of the Zimbabwe program through monitoring and evaluation (plays an advisory and oversight role) of the impact of the various components of the program and critically analysing program strategies and approaches and facilitate appropriate change to ensure program outcomes are sustainable. The MEAL Coordinator, over and above the responsibilities described herein, is part of the first line of Oxfam responders in the event of a CAT 1 or CAT 2 humanitarian crisis being declared, therefore can be assigned to support and/or lead the response as part of our organisational commitment to saving lives while ensuring commitments to donors and beneficiaries on ongoing work.
